Most hearing aids on the market come with an IP “water-resistant” rating. However, the Phonak Audéo™ Lumity can be submerged in up to 50 cm (or 1.64 feet) of fresh, salt, or pool water. ReSound Auracast™

Starkey Signature Series
For many of our patients, hearing aid aesthetics are an important concern. We get it. You have to feel confident, or you won’t want to wear them. Custom options have historically been a nice option for providing a custom-tailored, discreet option. However, these custom options don’t have great battery life or, worse, require disposable batteries.
But the Starkey Signature Series has solved this problem! These hearing aids are small, rechargeable, and waterproof. The best part? They have up to 38 hours of battery life! If you prefer custom hearing aids, the Starkey Signature Series might be a nice option for you.
Widex SmartRIC
During the COVID-19 pandemic, people were struggling to wear hearing aids along with their masks, especially if they also had to wear glasses. Receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) hearing aids like Widex SmartRIC have improved to provide patients with optimal fit, even when wearing glasses.
