Until recently my experience within audiology was limited to ensuring my 95yr old grandmother’s hearing aids were working properly. This included frequently driving 45mins one-way to either find a missing device or simply replace a dead battery. I understood the importance of her hearing healthcare as it helped maintain her quality of life and independence. I strive to ensure our patients receive the same quality care and compassion. Whether it’s our initial phone conversation to scheduling follow visits. The highlight of my patient interactions is seeing and hearing the joy of individuals who are experiencing sound/hearing for the first time in a very long time. If you don’t see me in the office, there’s a good chance I’m spending time with family and friends up north on Lake Huron, going to a concert or spending time with my furry and four legged friends.
